About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Bioinformatician to play a central role in delivering and supporting the clinical deployment of our OncoAnalyser Diagnostics SaaS platform (OncoAnalyser Dx) in Australia. This is a hybrid role spanning clinical production, customer support and regulatory/quality activities.

You will be responsible for ensuring reliable, high-quality operation of our bioinformatics pipeline and curation/reporting/trial matching interface, while also supporting customers through implementation, validation and ongoing use. In parallel, you will contribute to establishing and maintaining our quality management system and supporting TGA regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Production & Operations
· Manage day-to-day clinical production of OncoAnalyser Dx
· Monitor pipeline performance, data quality and turnaround times
· Troubleshoot bioinformatics workflows and resolve production issues
· Ensure reproducibility, traceability and auditability of analyses
· Collaborate with development team to implement updates and improvements
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 27001 alignment) and technical documentation for TGA registration

Customer Support & Implementation
· Support customer onboarding, issue resolution, version updates and implementation of OncoAnalyser Dx
· Deliver technical training sessions for clinical laboratories and end users
· Assist customers with custom panel design, verification/validation studies, panel comparisons and report customisation
· Review and contribute to user manuals, FAQs and customer facing resources
· Act as a key liaison between customers and internal technical teams

Required Qualifications & Experience
· PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field
· Experience working in a clinical genomics or diagnostic laboratory environment and understand accreditation standards (e.g. ISO 15189)
· Strong understanding of NGS data analysis (SNVs, indels, CNVs, structural variants/fusions), ideally in cancer genomics and comprehensive genomic profiling

· Hands-on experience with bioinformatics pipelines, workflow management systems and cloud-based or SaaS platforms
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and clinical stakeholders
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Self-driven with the ability to operate in a fast-evolving environment
