ABACBS supports regional events run by sub-committees and interested members. Sponsorship, insurance and financial and administrative support are available to approved regional events.

SYDNEY BIOINFORMATICS RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM 2023

We are very excited to announce that Sydney Bioinformatics Research Symposium (SBRS) is back in 2023 and will take place on the 8th of September at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney). SBRS 2023 will continue to be a one-day free event for all bioinformaticians and computational biologists in NSW and ACT. 

In addition to an exciting line-up of excellent keynote speakers, we will continue our tradition of oral presentations selected from abstracts. Of course, we will also continue to have our regular poster session and the popular fast-forward poster session.

Registration and abstract submission are now OPEN 

Registration is free but essential for catering purposes. Numbers may be limited for the venue. Please register and/or submit an abstract.

Abstract submission deadline – Monday 28th of August. 

PRIZES 

As in the past, we are expected to give out several awards during SBRS, including the best oral presentation, the best poster presentation, etc.
