Brief position description: The Goode and Kwan Laboratories at the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute are seeking a motivated and talented full-time Research Assistant to contribute to cutting-edge cancer research.
In this exciting role, you will join a team at the forefront of translational cancer research by developing and applying innovative bioinformatics methods for multi-omics data analysis. Your work will encompass diverse modalities, including genomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic, and spatial proteomic (e.g. multiplex immunohistochemistry) data derived from tissue and liquid biopsy samples across laboratory and clinical studies.
You will be embedded within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with strong links to Monash Health, Eastern Health, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a wide range of cancer bioinformatics projects. Your work will contribute to the search for better treatments for cancer patients.
